Filming and Editing

Filming Process
The filming process was very focused, as every member of the group new what they had to do and was on time with filming. The schedule was quickly changed to an earlier time as the owner of the house had to leave for an appointment. We had to make sure that we had enough time to film the sequence and not forget any important shots.  Timing was slightly an issue as we had to make sure that we included all the shots and ensure that the filming was not rushed. The timing continued to be an issue when we had run out of battery as Oscar forgot to put the battery on charge the night before.  However when the battery had died we only needed to do one more shot being the last shot of Hannah walking towards the camera.
Another slight problem that we had was that Oscar was not feeling well and he was not fully paying his full attention on the camera shots. This was a minor issue for the rest of the group as we had to fill in and take over when he was not feeling up to it.
Editing Process
The editing process was quite a difficult task compared to the rest of the development. The camera shots that we had taken had come out to be very poor as they were dark and the lighting was not considered in a few of the establishing and beginning shots. I felt very disheartened because we put so much effort into the filming process that day.  However we got a lot of the shots done.
Because of the dark shots and the poor composition of shots that came out, Hannah and I took the camera and re filmed the shots one day after school. This was a minor setback to editing the title sequence.
I think that we stuck to the original storyboard well, although we did shoot more shots in different angles and positions to make the title sequence more effective and give ourselves choice when editing the final edit.
As for creative decisions I included a slow motion effect from the very beginning of the title sequence to tell audiences that the genre is of a horror genre. Throughout the title sequences there are a lot of slow motion and highlighted effects that I included so that audience are aware of the dangers around, even if they are of general everyday things. For instance When Hannah and Zeba chuck there bag on the bed there is a glow and slow motion effect that makes audiences airy of the situation.
The font I used for the captions was AppleGothic. I used this font throughout the whole title sequence and kept this font for the title as well. I decided to do this because I want to keep the captions in the sequence consistent. If I had put different fonts for different people then the title sequence could come across to be tacky and I want to avoid that and try to seem as professional as possible.
